I spy Friday...

I spy with my little eye...200 I Spy quilt squares! What's that you're thinking? Why yes, I did. I took the time to separate them by color and place them in rows from light to dark, all 200 of them. Now to arrange them into a quilt that creates a gradual pattern of color...kinda like a watercolor quilt only with 4" I Spy blocks instead of 2" watercolor blocks. Yes...I like watercolor quilts. Someday I hope to create one. :)

You're so organized in how you arranged them. Beautiful. I split mine into two separated piles to make two quilts...one for the girls and one for the boys. They'll be great Christmas gifts. It was a fun swap.

I have often thought about using I-spy squares this way--arranged by color. I can't wait to see the quilt you make from these.

Hi, I've got some old towels stowed away & thinking about cutting them up for rags but now I've been thinking about cutting them up to quilt them together & making a bathrobe for my self. I love quilts but the one time I tried to make on, I had the pattern all crooked. A rainbow quilt will be very pretty.
